After arriving at Dublin airport, we rented a car and took off for
Limerick (Luimneach). All cars in Ireland have the name of the county of
residence on the license plate. The county names are in Irish Gaelic.
Baile Átha Cliath is the Irish name for Dublin. Most road signs have the
Irish name first and then the English. One of the 3 TV stations we
received at our cottage broadcast in Irish Gaelic, sometimes with
English subtitles. They even had Dora the Explorer done in Irish.
